After a lovely day out visiting Red Pepper Gallery in Daylesford , delivering stock and enjoying a beautiful lunch, I was able to peek at the results of last nights firing which finished at two am.
I was worried about this firing, the cones had not fallen properly but the colour (white hot) was right. I made a decision to turn off the gas and hoped!
It looks fine. All three glazes look as they should and the order will be fulfilled. I have fired three times this week, one raku, one mid fire and one high fire. Far too stressful for an old muddy like me!
