Using clay as a plastic and versatile material I am able to use all the techniques available to me to explore and express ideas. Currently I am interested in the interactions of people with each other and in their environment. My most recent solo exhibition “Figuratively Speaking” at Shepparton , Art Gallery explored body language and facial expression. “AquaMarine” is a direct comment on the idiocy of war with its machinations and weapons. This piece reflects my concern with the effects our behaviors have on each other and on this planet on which we depend for our future life and growth.
