Here are some shots of my work featured in the Open Studio over 3 days late November, 1st December. This was a huge undertaking for me, but I had some wonderful help from husband Derek and friends, particularly Janet who helped me clean up one extremely hot afternoon.
Many people came and most of them bought something. There were many requests for classes so I have two maybe three more students.
I think I will do this again, but just once a year. If my sales area could be separate from my studio area I could do it more often. It was certainly well received and the support I had from the Shepparton News and The Community Fund in the Goulburn Valley was wonderful.
After spending many weeks concentrating on thrown bowls and bottles, I am ready to work on some whimsical sculptural forms - just cos I want to.
